An Auckland Loans team member found the Marmaris restaurant in Titirangi whilst driving one Saturday morning so he called in for a coffee.
Following some brilliant service he had to came back for dinner during the week with some friends to try the food.
Formerly The Refreshment Room, Marmaris is a Mediterranean styled restaurant with a good selection of wines to match the well thought out menu (we’ve cut and pasted the main menu and dedicated vegan menu below for you to get your tastes buds working up).
Only four minutes’ drive from Titirangi village, along Scenic Drive you’re at the grounds of the old old Montana Winery. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Waitakeres, Marmaris has warm indoor fires for winter and a large outdoor deck which provides relaxed dining in the summer months.
In keeping with its roots in the wine industry the decor is nice and woody. With polished wood and a proud nod to its past. It makes a change from the endless whitewashed walls which trouble many an Auckland eatery these days.
The Red Room, downstairs at Marmaris is a great event space for large group dining and banquet dinners, for day time (any day) corporate workshops and training, art exhibitions, special parties, small weddings and conferences, comedy and music gigs, etc. The Red Room also takes overflow from the upstairs Marmaris main dining areas, and is a great place to relax with your cured meats and early evening beverages or your dessert and coffee.

The location is stunning. Cradled in the lush green Waitakere Ranges, with a huge deck for outside dining, the elevation affords stunning views out across the Waitakere bush and towards the city.
Our team member and his friends loved the whole experience.
If you want great food and service, then Marmaris is definitely a must to try.
